Is Adaptive Learning the Future of Education?
Learning analytics is on the rise and this seems like an obvious extension of that idea. Rather than extract data after the event and modify future offers on that basis (still worth doing), can the data be used to drive adaptive change as the learning occurs? That does happen in games to a degree and perhaps that is where learning analytics and gamification cross over.
