mLearning – Power in the Worker’s Pocket
It’s a slideshare so short on detail but has links and/or screenshots of significant resources. Momentum is building. How long can we resist mobile for learners and for staff? When will the institution realise that the workPLACE no longer exists because we work where we are on whatever device is to hand?

Now that we have ubiquitously connected devices in our pockets the boundaries between work, learning and social/life are increasingly permeable. As I quoted from Microsoft in one of these recently, work is something that I do (wherever and whenever I can and want to) not a place I go. Organisations that try to lock professional/academic work and learning into physical locations and time slots are locked in a 19th century mindset and need to confront the realities of the 21st century.
