Stephen Heppell: Structures & strictures of education will be swept aside
On the same day that @TheQldPremier announces IPads in bulk this appeared in my Twitter feed. Heppell argues that schools have appropriated previous technologies but not the mobile phone. Nobody is buying class sets of those. He talks about kids designing a learning space and eschewing equipment for a more exciting space on the basis that equipment would be obsolete in 3 years. BYOD bites again.
