This paper claims to have developed an instrument that measures the central component of the TPACK framework with 4 factors within it – design, exertion, ethics, and proficiency. The study was conducted with preservice teachers in Turkey so its relevance in Australian settings will need further examination.
Jon Dron argues for a broader view of technology that accepts pedagogies as technologies. That view of technology is consistent with the view taken in the Australian and Qld curriculums. How might it affect thinking about TPACK, I wonder.
