Scott Wilson on ePortfolios
June 10, 2005
Scott Wilson has posted a presentation about ePortfolios. At almost 3.5 Mbytes the PowerPoint file is large but well worth grabbing.
The presentation covers a broad swathe of territory. Beginning with a typology of ePortfolio uses – recording, reflecting, presenting, evidencing, planning & assessing – it goes on to consider questions of ownership, evidencing, verification, authentication and assertion. It also considers matters of standards and implementation using open standard feeds.
This is a PowerPoint presentation and inevitably lacks a lot of detail but it does provide a useful outline for thinking about some significant issues in ePortfolio developments.
